MIDLIFE WAS THE QUESTION…

Wife. Mom. Author.

For years, those were the most rewarding and defining labels of my life. But like so many midlife women, I lost myself in my roles. I forgot that my primary role is…well, being my most splendid self!

As my roles as “wife” “mom” “author” changed and morphed, I realized I needed to seriously evaluate my life and the direction I was headed in order to spend the rest of my life feeling and living my very best.

I had to get REAL HONEST with myself and REAL MOTIVATED to make some RADICAL CHANGES. In order to be truly happy, I needed to transform some habits, air out my boldness, set some inspiring goals, and dream some new dreams.

Many other women have confided that midlife found them feeling the same way and sadly, they often felt alone in the process. That’s when it occurred to me that I could combine my love of writing and my newfound self-exploration to help others.

MOXIE FRUIT IS MY ANSWER.

Life can throw us for a loop, yo. Divorce happens (raises hand), health issues arise (yep, got those too) and everyday challenges can feel like hurricane force headwinds. I can’t change those things—that’s this crazy, beautiful, perplexing thing called life.

What I can do is grab your hand and promise that just because we’ve hit midlife, and just because our very bodies are changing and morphing along with our roles, doesn’t mean we’re done being vibrant, exciting, inspiring, adventurous women!

Together, we are a MOXIE-LISCIOUS tribe who can lift others up, commiserate like besties, and inspire women to rock the hell out of this bewildering betwixt-and-between time.

Moxie Fruit began as a personal quest to make sure that I defined my midlife and beyond.

I mean to take a big, juicy bite out of midlife.

I intend to make “MOXIE” a verb.

If you’re with me, welcome and thank you for being part of my new dream.
